Galactic Battlefront looks like a game we'd have seen on the App Store a few years ago. It's hard to say that without sounding a little insulting because it's fairly dated looking. It's also pretty fun, which makes up for its aged appearance.
You're controlling a fleet of ships as you attempt to thwart the evil rebel alliance. It's a little formulaic but Galactic Battlefront does a valiant act of keeping your interest through some conversational set pieces. A lot like a management game, you don't actually get to control the ships themselves. Instead, you commit yourself to various types of weaponry before unleashing them at your enemy and waiting to see what happens.

You can pull them back for a time or deploy extra ships (if you have them) but the actual shooting is hands-off. Instead, your main interaction is outside of battle as you find yourself using the money you've earned from a fight on unlocking new bits and pieces. Galactic Battlefront does a decent job of holding your interest through the gradually unlocking of new content. You can also acquire bonuses such as double experience which can go a long way to helping your progress.
Due to being so simple though, Galactic Battlefront can turn repetitive. Success is mostly down to you grinding your way to enough money, through completing side bounty missions, before buying an upgrade and being able to tackle the next story battle. There are issues with some buttons not being as responsive a you'd like, too. It's kind of fun though, in a rough kind of way. Being more to do with the decisions you make than your reaction skills, Galactic Battlefront has a charm. Just one that seems quite old fashioned by today's standards.
